Richard M. Anderson founded Hunter McLeod Realty Corp with a humble start in 1995 from a basement home office on Vancouver’s West Side. Since then he has been building a strong brand by attracting, supporting and retaining experienced staff, applying efficient and attentive involvement in property matters, implementing prompt communication as a pillar of his company, and reinforcing his standard of “simply deliver what you promise”.

The company name “Hunter McLeod” has strong familial ties for Richard. Frank Hunter was Richard’s Grandfather-In-Law, who welcomed Richard warmly into the family and was a significant positive influence on Richard’s wife Carolyn in her youth. The McLeod Scottish Clan name is ancestral, and is passed down from his father, Donald McLeod Anderson. These names are honoured in Richard’s company and as the middle names of his sons. One of his sons, William Hunter Anderson, has joined Hunter McLeod Realty with plans to continue the legacy of the company into the future.
